Writing Through The Year

A detailed writing curriculum with easy to follow lesson plans that incorporate all kindergarten-2nd grade writing standards.  This program aims to instill a love of writing in students, accommodating even those who are still learning letter sounds. The curriculum includes various elements like a writer's workshop framework, detailed lessons, mentor text lists, anchor charts, and rubrics. Each writing lesson has been classroom-tested and student-approved.

Engaging Readers

A reading comprehension and phonics curriculum developed for kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade classrooms. It offers interactive read aloud lesson plans, which include activities like responding to literature, sentence studies, and activities to build vocabulary. These lessons, which are easy to use and aligned with Common Core and TEKS standards, are aimed at enhancing students' reading comprehension skills through the use of high quality literature. The curriculum fosters deep student understanding by encouraging discussion and explicitly teaching comprehension strategies.
